Pascal Métral serves as Vice President of Legal Affairs for NAGRA, a world leader in digital security and cybersecurity. He joined NAGRA in 2003 as an external counsel specialized in IP and criminal law, stepping into the role of the in-house counsel in charge of anti-piracy, anti-cybercrime and corporate matters in 2009. Pascal heads a global team of in-house and external lawyers and investigators within the NAGRA Anti-Piracy Services unit.
Pascal also co-founded Alianza contra Piratería de Televisión Paga, an industry association launched in 2013 that aims to fight pay-TV piracy in Latin America.
Pascal holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Geneva and was admitted to the Geneva Bar. Prior to his tenure with NAGRA/Kudelski, Pascal practiced intellectual property, criminal, and civil law in a law firm in Geneva where he was a partner.
