Tim Pearson is Senior Director, Product Marketing at NAGRA.
Tim drives various market development and product marketing activities for NAGRA, the world’s leading independent provider of content protection and multiscreen television solutions designed to connect people to the content they love. His areas of focus include next generation content value protection and user experience TV solutions that leverage IP, cloud and data technology. Prior to his current role, he held a number of product management roles at NAGRA focussing on Go-To-Market strategies and business management/ pricing.
In a career spanning 20+ years, he started his career in technical consultancy, working with cable, telco and transport providers looking to manage their networks via digital mapping solutions. He then joined the team that launched ‘3’ in a variety of product management roles and delivered the world’s first live streaming event over a 3G network. Next he joined Wanadoo focusing on IPTV – a role that would later see him promoted to Director of digital TV at Orange and responsible for the early national trials of the solution. Immediately prior to NAGRA, Tim was at Red Bee Media looking at content management automation, content discovery and online video platforms.
Tim holds a Master of Science in Information Technology (GIS) from the University of Keele, UK. In his spare time, he enjoys getting out into the outdoors, climbing mountains such as Kilimanjaro and competing in local sailing competitions in both the UK and Greece.
